5 years vs possible ?

Its been a crazy but very meaningful and fulfilling 1 month. I've been very busy with training and speaking work. Our own company's projects and my corporate training engagements. Hence the lack of updates and blog entires!

I do have alot to blog on what i did: {Victoria School Camp Bridge, Chongfu and Greenridge Primary Leadership programs; Corporate workshops on Mindset shift for senior workers=> from NEA, MOE, Tien Wah Press etc, as well as the areas of presentation skills and Worklife balance}

but right now, Im scared!..

My heart scan result is out. And despite all the positive thoughts and energy i put in to myself; as i spoke of in my previous entry below, it's not looking good.

Well I've got only 5 years left.. if my valve strength do not improve by then. And they're looking at a possible valve replacement operation by the end of 2008.

Im still holding on even as i admit that its really a blow and huge upset for myself. It just suxs.. big time in fact.

BUT,

I guess its still a choice i gotta make now:

1) Ahh.. gees.. what a freaking result., life suxs and it is so unfair to me! So i will give up all now.

2) There's still hope. It aint over yet! The crucial word to focus on is "Possible" and not "5 years"
The next advanced scan to determine the condition of the valve is early dec! And they will then decide again. So, all is not lost.. not yet, my friends!

别忘了,我是一只打不死的蟑螂!!!

So, my dear friends and readers, I think you probably know what my choice is! ..

pressing on,
")
Javier.

if u're talking about 5 meaningful years, then i don't think it's going to be an issue right? in many instances, people who have lived up to their 60s or 70s may not even have accumulated more than 5 meaningful years which they can remember for life. As long as you're living life the way you want it to be and contributing to whatever you want to, i think that's more than enough. What's 5 yrs if they are in vain? don't think about the yrs after the coming 5, but more of the upcoming 5. if there's anything i believe in, it's your mum's love for you and your faith in yourself. remember what you told me? as long as i climb up one more time than the no. of times i fall down, i'll be fine. staying strong is tough but not that tough if your family and friends are behind you. trust in the people around you, they won't fail you. =)

what's so great bout doctors? i've heard so many instances where doctors said the patient has only a few months to live, and they've continued living for years. i've heard of so many instances where doctors proclaimed the patient incurable but the sickness or disease just healed. cancerous tumours disappearing, healing miracles. hey bro, you ain't seen nothing yet. don't worry. i'll be praying for ya. :D
